Albright Music Industry Studies students earn Pro Tools certification

Eight students working toward Albright College degrees in Music Industry Studies have earned professional certification in Pro Tools — the industry-standard software used by recording studios and music producers around the world.

Recording and production software certification offers a pathway to artistic careers in music recording, engineering and production, as well as a range of positions in the music products industry.

An Avid Learning Partner recognized as one of the most artistic colleges in the country, Albright College is home to an industry-leading Music Industry Studies program; a music recording and production recording studio; a campus record label, Lion Records; multiple music and event venues; and an on-campus radio station, WXAC 91.3 FM.

The college’s Music Industry Studies major is an interdisciplinary program that balances all areas of the music industry by integrating music business, music technology and artistry. The college also offers an Entertainment Industry business track and a new, five course minor in Music Production.
