Two Albright thespians recognized by BroadwayWorld

Albright College first year students, Maya Burdick (Ephrata, Pa.) and Ben Galosi (Reading, Pa) have been recognized by BroadwayWorld for theatre performances at the nearby Ephrata Performing Arts Center.

A graduate of Ephrata Senior High School studying theatre at Albright College, Burdick received a 2021 BroadwayWorld Best Supporting Performer in a Musical Regional Award for her work as Miss Honey in “Matilda, the Musical.”

A graduate of Wilson High School studying theatre and arts administration at Albright College, Ben Galosi received a 2021 BroadwayWorld Best Performer Under 18 Years Old Regional Award for his work as Christopher Boone in “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.”

BroadwayWorld Regional Awards are the largest theatre audience awards, with over 100 cities participating worldwide. Released in January 2022, the 2021 Regional Awards honor productions which were performed between Oct. 1, 2020 and Sept. 30, 2021.
