The class of 2023 has arrived!

Hailing from 20 states — as well as Morocco, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Japan, South Korea and Ireland — Albright’s newest scholars include 386 first-year students and 55 transfer students. Biology is the group’s most popular major, followed by Albright’s Alpha program for undecided students and Business Administration. About half of the class of 2023 come from outside of Pennsylvania.

Among the new students are four Davis Scholarship winners, a gold medal Pennsylvania state competitive figure skater, and a national champion in-line speed skater representing team USA in the Netherlands.
More tidbits:
• 189 first generation students
• 69 honors students
• 96 student-athletes (Go Lions!)

After moving into residence halls with the help of the Albright community, new students take part in Welcome Weekend — full of orientation activities from Thursday, August 21 to Sunday, August 25.
