Four earn full Davis Scholarships

Four high school students have earned full Albright College Davis Scholarships this spring. The prestigious scholarships cover the full cost of tuition, room and board at Albright College. Winning scholars display strong academic performance and the desire to become creative, critical thinkers who are prepared to better serve their communities after college.
This year’s Davis Scholarship winners include:
Olivia Console of Collingswood N.J.
A senior at Collingswood Senior High School, Console is interested in studying French and International Relations in college.
Brandom Hernandez Ruiz of Reading Pa.
A senior at Reading High School, Hernandez Ruiz is interested in studying Pre-Law and the Alpha program in college.
Angelica Malone of Dover Del.
A senior at Early College High School at Delaware State University, Malone is interested in studying Psychology and Psychobiology in college.
Sophia Stroumbakis of Reading Pa.
A senior at Wyomissing Area High School, Stroumbakis is interested in studying Sociology:Criminology and French in college.
Endowed Davis Scholarships were established following the passing of Louise D. Hinnershots in the name of her father, Warren L. Davis — in acknowledgment that Albright College consistently produces creative, critical thinkers with a desire to better serve their communities beyond Albright. Davis Scholarships are full tuition, room and board scholarships awarded to students of strong academic performance who wish to pursue further academic success at Albright.
