Albright College junior, Abigail Ensslen, accepted the competitive Dick Jones Scholarship for Aspiring Communication Professionals during the annual CUPRAP Conference, March 5, 2020.

Named in honor of Richard W. “Dick” Jones who founded the original Dick Jones Communications in 1987, sponsored by the RW Jones Agency and awarded by the College and University Public Relations and Associated Professionals (CUPRAP), the $2,500 Dick Jones Scholarship for Aspiring Communications Professionals is awarded annually to one full-time student in good academic standing, with plans to pursue a career in professional communications. The successful candidate must be enrolled in a CUPRAP member institution or a college or university in CUPRAP’s region, and majoring in public relations, marketing, journalism or a related field.
Ensslen is studying communications/public relations & advertising, and fashion at Albright College, and aspires to a career in public relations or advertising for a fashion company. Ensslen has maintained a 3.7 grade point average while serving as a student worker in the college’s Communication Division where she has gained valuable experience in writing, interviewing, content creation and social media management.
