A Satisfying Smithsonian Summer for Albright Student-Intern

There is no such thing as a boring day at the Smithsonian, says student-intern Autumn Blalock ’20.
The Albright College theater and psychology co-major spent her summer working in the Smithsonian Discovery Theater, doing everything from assisting in planning the performance season to running lights for a summer camp play.
As production manager of the Domino Players Theater Company on campus, Blalock was definitely up the challenge.
“It has been amazing,” says Blalock. “I had such a great learning experience and I’ve seen talented performers like a funk band, a scientist and a dance team that all have come to perform for the children of the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia areas.”
