Albright College adult and undergraduate students, alongside alumni and staff members, penned 35 winning Best of Berks business profiles for Berks County Living magazine’s December 2019 issue. In addition, Albright fashion alumna, Juli Cleaver ’01, was featured for earning a second Lifetime Best Award as owner of Bella Jules Fashion Boutique, in West Reading.

Under the direction of English lecturer Marian Frances Wolbers, several accelerated adult students and staff members in Albright’s School of Professional Studies (SPS) wrote pieces for the magazine. SPS authors included students Ryan P. Buttery (business administration), Blair F. Kettler (organizational behavior/applied psychology) and Janis (Haynes) Westcott (accounting); alumni Jason Brown ’18 (business administration) and Miles Klein ’19 (digital communications); and staff members Tracy Gray Hayes ’93 (SPS interim director), Nancy Taylor ’14 (SPS enrollment advisor) and Marian Wolbers. Some of the authors penned multiple pieces for the feature.

In addition, regular contributor Kelly Tanger (Masters Hall secretary) is credited as both a writer and co-editor of Best of Berks 2019, alongside Wolbers. And photographer Heidi Reuter (SPS general studies instructor) earned photo credits.
