Michael H. Reese ’86 (Reading, Pa.), Peter D. Stanislawczyk (Mohnton, Pa.) and Nancy G. Shores, J.D. (Roslyn Heights, N.Y.) have been appointed to three-year terms as Albright College trustees at-large, beginning this January.
A life-long resident of Reading, Pa., Michael H. Reese ’86 graduated from Albright College’s evening degree program in 1986 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He retired from a 30-year career as a public servant for the City of Reading in December 2011.
Reese holds recovery specialist certifications from Pennsylvania’s Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs in the areas of relapse prevention, the spirituality of recovery, screening and assessment, trauma and addiction, and women and addiction. An avid volunteer within the Berks County community, Reese was recognized by the Alumni Association of Reading High School in 2019, received the Reading Branch of the NAACP’s Image Award in 2018, and in 2014 received the United Way of Berks County’s Live United Champion Award as well as the Distinguished Northeasterner Award from Northeast Middle School.
A longtime member of the Albright College Alumni Association board, Reese regularly takes part in student and alumni activities on campus, such as welcoming first-year students and families to Albright during Move-In Day picnics. A member of the college’s 1856 Society, Reese is a founding steering committee member of Albright’s Society of Black Alumni, and the 2018 recipient of the Mary Fry Good ’49 Service to Alma Mater award.
Promoted to senior vice president of automotive sales at East Penn Manufacturing Company in February 2019, Peter D. Stanislawczyk, of Mohnton, Pa., is responsible for all of the company’s automotive sales segments including original equipment, aftermarket, private and proprietary brands, branch operations, and wire, cable and battery accessories.
After joining East Penn in 1992 as a sales trainee, Stanislawczyk rose through the ranks from salesman to the manager of sales programs, to director of sales for automotive batteries and diversified products, to vice president of sales for aftermarket programs, and to group vice president of sales for private and proprietary brands and diversified products.
Stanislawczyk holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Delaware, where he majored in business administration.
Nancy G. Shores, J.D., of Roslyn Heights, N.Y., has served as vice president global real estate, construction and deputy general counsel at The Nature’s Bounty Company since 2004, where she oversees more than seven million square feet of worldwide real estate, manages company-wide dispositions, design and construction, acquisitions and strategic planning related to industrial, office and corporate (including retail divisions) real estate and assets. She earned a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law.
