Albright adds healthcare focus to Master in Business degree

Three new master’s level certificates are also now available

Albright College has added a new healthcare administration concentration, and graduate certificate, to its online Master of Science degree in Business degree program. The new focus complements four other existing concentrations in accounting, data analytics, digital marketing, and inclusive and ethical leadership, as well as certificates in accounting, data analytics, and digital marketing.

Able to be completed in just over one year, Albright’s cutting-edge master in business program is designed to empower busy working adults with the skills and expertise to succeed ⁠— professionally and personally. Certificates can be completed as part of the program, or separately by completing four focused courses.

“Healthcare is the largest industry in our backyard of Berks County,” said Lisa Wilder, Ph.D., interim dean and associate professor of economics. “Healthcare administration jobs are forecasted to grow by a fast 28%, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.”

Albright’s Master of Science in Business degree coursework was created using global business data to determine the most valued, vital skills for the modern workplace. Learning focuses on innovation and strategy, and incorporates student-chosen concentrations in accounting, data analytics, digital marketing, and inclusive and ethical leadership.

In addition to the Master of Science in Business degree program, Albright’s offers a Master of Science in applied psychology, Master of Science in athletic leadership, and Master of Arts/Master of Science in Education.
